Purpose
To conserve a sensitive coastal wetland and brackish ecosystem that supports aquaculture, migratory birds, and local biodiversity within the Antalya region.
Regulations Summary
Restrictions
1. All forms of commercial and recreational fishing are prohibited.
2. Collecting wild animals, their eggs, or their offspring is prohibited.
3. It is strictly prohibited to discharge untreated domestic or industrial wastewater under any circumstances.
4. Dumping solid waste, rubble, excavation material, or process waste sludge is prohibited. Except for activities aimed at sustaining, restoring, or improving the wetland ecosystem, dredging and the dumping of dredged sludge is prohibited.

Certain activities, that do not include fishing, may be allowed in accordance with local laws.
