Purpose

Fort Casey Underwater Park was established to provide public use access and management of underwater resources in Fort Casey State Park, a 467-acre marine camping park with a lighthouse and sweeping views of Admiralty Inlet and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The park is the site of Admiralty Head Lighthouse. The park features 10,810-feet of saltwater shoreline on Puget Sound (Admiralty Inlet), and includes Keystone Spit, a two-mile stretch of land separating Admiralty Inlet and Crocket Lake.

Regulations Summary

Restrictions

1. No person shall remove or cause to be removed any fish from any state park area except for food fish, shellfish, and game fish. The commission may close state park areas to the harvest of some or all species of fish. Such state park areas shall be conspicuously posted as closed to harvest. The director or designee may temporarily close any state park area to the harvest of some or all species of fish.
2. All state park areas are closed to the harvest of seaweed.
