To protect and conserve the unique marine ecosystems surrounding Norfolk Island, including temperate and tropical marine life, seamounts, and the Norfolk Ridge, which connects deep-water species across the Pacific. The park also preserves cultural and historical heritage, including the wreck of HMS Sirius, while supporting sustainable use, eco-tourism, and nature-watching opportunities valued by the Norfolk Island community.
