Regulations Summary
Restrictions
Any activity that does not comply with the allowed activities of the Utilization Zone will be prohibited.
Allowed
The following activities are allowed:
1. Marine tourism activities, such as: diving, snorkeling, beach tourism, and outbound training;
2. Activities to protect ecological processes that support the sustainability of coral reef, mangrove and seagrass ecosystems;
3. Surveillance activities to protect and prevent any potential changes in the area and of the area's functions;
4. Recovery and rehabilitation activities for turtle habitats and populations, such as ecotourism, observing turtles laying eggs and releasing hatchlings into the wild;
5. Activities for the protection of habitats and rare fish species, such as observing the habitat of the Napoleon fish.
