Purpose

The conservation and maintenance of the good state of sedentary or rn igratory fauna, tlore, soil, water, fossils and geological formations. and geomorphological of particular interest that should be preserved or rehabilitated. It is used for scientific research and environmental education purposes only.

Species of Concern: monk seal, limpets, loggerhead sea turtle, fin whale, bottlenose dolphin, short-beaked common dolphin

Restrictions

All actions likely to harm the natural environment, the conservation of flora and fauna, are prohibited or subject to restrictions throughout the protected area, except with the prior authorization of the competent administration. or alter the character and elements of the ecosystem of the protected area, including in particular:
1. hunting and fishing, slaughtering or capturing fauna, destroying or collecting flora;
2. the introduction of animal or plant species, exotic or local, wild or domesticated;
3. the execution of public and private works of any kind, including the installation of electrification or telecommunications networks;
4. the extraction of materials which may or may not be concessionary;
5. any excavation or prospecting, any sounding, earthworks or construction;
6. the use of water;
7. work likely to modify the appearance of the space, the landscape, the fauna or flora.

Allowed

Subject to compliance with the requirements of national defense and public safety, traffic/navigation, camping and overflight at an altitude of less than 1000 meters can only be done in or above the protected area with the permission of the competent administration and within the framework of authorized management, scientific research or training activities.
