Purpose

To increase marine biodiversity, enhance fish stocks, and increase marine productivity. The creation of this site and addition of underwater sculptures to create the first underwater museum has significantly contributed to conservation efforts and increased environmental awareness in Cyprus.

Restrictions

1. Fishing by any means, including recreational fishing, is prohibited.
2. Passage with any motorized or non-motorized vessel or other floating means within a radius of 150 meters from the point Kerynia and within points 5, 6, 7, and 8 shown on the Map is prohibited.

Allowed

Passage of vessels is permitted in the marine area where the point Kerynia is located within a radius of 150 meters for:
a. Vessels of the Republic.
b. Diving vessels displaying a flag and markings in accordance with international diving regulations.
