Purpose

To preserve the system of the Nemunas delta tributaries (Atmatas, Pakalnė, Skatule, Skirvytė, Vytinė, Vorusnė, and others), the landscape of Rusnė island, Ventė horn, and Žalgiriai, ancient lakes - grasshoppers, and the Krokai arc of lagoon floodplain meadows in the lower reaches of the Nemunas.

Species of Concern: eurasian otter, red-breasted merganser, long-tailed duck, sea lamprey

Restrictions

Visiting the regional park's natural reserve is allowed only for research purposes, for educational purposes

Allowed

Certain activities are permitted in parts of the park. In the natural reserves, self-propelled vessels are allowed to go to Skirvytes, Vytines, Sakutes, Vorusnes, Skatules, Rusnaite rivers or reach the Kursilt lagoon during the whole navigation season at the lowest speed .
