Hensikt
To protect the 'Maldives Victory,' an 83-metre-long cargo ship that hit the Male’ Atoll Hulhule’ Reef and sank southwest of that reef on 23 February 1981 and has become an ‘artificial’ reef. Many fish species inhabit it. At a depth of 33 meters, the wreck is very rich in marine life. Various species of corals, batfish, yellowback fusilier, and groupers, as well as tortoises and turtles, including protected species, have been recorded here.

8. Fishing of any kind.
9. Removing anything from, or adding anything to, or doing anything to damage the flooded ‘Maldives Victory’ shipwreck.
