To develop an integrated management system for the marine-coastal ecosystem of Punta de Manabique, which allows the maintenance of its essential ecological processes and sustainability in the production of derived goods and services: forest management, hunting, fishing, transit, tourism and community development.

To achieve the management objectives of the “Punta de Manabique” Wildlife Refuge, it has been zoned for better administration and management. The establishment of oil and mining concessions or exploratory activities for the exploitation of hydrocarbons and other non-renewable natural resources is prohibited in the entire area of the RVS Punta de Manabique.
