Regulations Summary

Apribojimai

It's forbidden:
1. to fish, with some exceptions;
2. to disembark on the islands and islets, except Agadir and within the framework of customary activities;
3. to hunt, trap, capture, injure, poison or kill any wild animal, including mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians; to move, damage or take nests or ceuts; damage or destroy the habitats and shelters of wild animals; abandon carcasses of fish or other animals;
4. to introduce any weapon in the ammunition except for the use of the public force; introduce any trap or poison;
5. to pick or uproot wild plants;
6. to destroy sites containing objects of historical interest; destroy or collect the fossils present on these sites;
7. to introduce into the natural environment, voluntarily, through negligence or recklessness, any specimen of a non-native or non-domestic animal or plant species;
8. to pollute the marine and continental environment, water and soil, in particular through the use of chemical substances;
9. to abandon wrecks;
10. to fly over islands and islets at an altitude of less than 2000 feet and other parts of the Park at less than 1500 feet;
11. and, in general, to commit any act likely to undermine the integrity of the Park and its resources.

1. The resident populations usually fishing in the Park remain authorized to practice subsistence fishing within the meaning of the provisions of the Maritime Fisheries Code and, as such, in particular:
- the fishing on foot called peche Imraguen;
- sail fishing.
2. The competent authority of the Park may authorize, on the basis of the opinion of the Scientific Council and in coordination with the Ministry responsible for fisheries, access to other fishing activities of a size compatible with ecological requirements and oceanographic research results. Authorized fishing activities may not be carried out using boats other than sailfish, nor may they relate to species threatened with extinction. Trawls, spinnets and driftnets cannot be used for these activities.
3. The use of motor boats for the purposes of transporting people, goods or products in the maritime part of the Park is subject to authorization, under the conditions set by decree.
4. The carrying out of scientific research activities within the Zone and its zones is subject to the prior authorization of the authority responsible for the management.
