Restrizioni

The following activities are prohibited:
1. Disposal of waste and garbage;
2. Marine tourism: beach recreation, diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, kayaking/paddling, surfing, kite surfing, fishing (catch and release), glass boats, dolphin watching, mangroves, cultural tourism (local and maritime);
3. Installation of FADs, using toxic materials, compressors and/or bombs;
4. Catching ornamental fish in environmentally friendly ways;
5. Fishing activities by small-scale and artisanal fishers and groups of fishers who have business units that are not required to have fishing business licenses;
6. Fishing by boats;
7. Traffic of captured fish-pooling boats;
8. Fisheries activities including: fishing rods, arrows/spearguns, bottom longlines, squid fishing rods, taking biota and/or just lifting, trawling nets, muroami nets, poles and lines, seine nets, traps, tuba roots, cyanides, bombs/explosives and other environmentally harmful fishing gears, taking and selling turtle eggs;
9. Aquaculture: seaweed, pearls, sea cucumbers, napoleon fish, using Floating Net Cages, Plugged Net Cages.

Consentito

1. Tour boats are allowed (max 14m draft, passing only).

The following activities are allowed, with permits:
1. Extractive and non-extractive monitoring and research;
2. Education on the maintenance and improvement of biodiversity (seagrass, mangrove, coral reef ecosystems and biota), education for the protection and management of maritime archaeological sites;
3. Mooring buoys.
