Regulations Summary

Restrictions

1. It is forbidden to navigate the waters without consent from the protected area manager.
2. It is prohibited to navigate within the 200-meter mide water area, with exceptions for scientific research and surveillance purposes.
3. Entry is prohibited with exceptions for approved scientific research, surveillance and rescue.
4. Economic activities and the use of natural resources are prohibited.
5. Recreational fishing with traps is prohibited, except from July 1 to November 15.
6. The use of water scooters, windsurfers, water bikes, water skis and floating rafts is prohibited in the protected area. These restrictions do not apply to scientific fieldwork, monitoring and rescue.

Allowed

1. Commercial fishing using traps, gill nets, and longlines is allowed during the year. Recreational fishing is allowed from July 1 to November 15.
2. Movement of floating craft within the protected area is permitted with the consent of the administrator of the protected area, with the maximum authorized speed being 15 knots.
